It is one of the only pats of the wedding that will stay with you physically throughout the whole of your marriage, and it needs to symbolise your love for your partner as well as reflect your personal traits and personality.

To make a wedding ring more unique and even more special, many people design their own. This isn’t as hard as you would think, although you will need to make sure you give yourself plenty of time to plan, design and create your ring. Knowing how to design a wedding ring is not as time consuming as it sounds either as long as you follow a few simple rules.
1. Make sure your wedding ring matches your engagement ring. This is especially important!
2. If you go for jewels within the ring, make sure they complement the engagement ring.
3. Give yourself plenty of time to design the ring
4. If you can’t sketch the ring design yourself, get someone how can as this will make it easier for the jeweller.
5. Get a specialist ring designer, not every store has one on their staff.
6. If you want to be traditional, go for a simple band.
7. Be prepared to pay extra for a designed ring as you’ll have to pay for the labour costs.
